Treatments

Under The Gallows Tree also offers Reiki, which is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice from Japan. The name Reiki comes from two Japanese words: Rei, meaning universal, and Ki, meaning life energy. This idea is similar to Chi in Chinese culture or Prana in Indian tradition.

Many believe that clearing blockages or imbalances in a person's energy field helps the body start its own healing process. This may reduce stress, tension, and anxiety, support physical, emotional, and mental healing, and complement traditional medical treatments. Reiki sessions can take place in person, with the practitioner holding their hands just above or on the body, or even from a distance. People often feel warmth or tingling during a typical 45-minute session.

Hayley is a trained practitioner who channels "universal life force energy" by gently placing her hands on or near a client's clothed body. This is meant to support the body's natural ability to heal itself.
